A highlight for many young people will be the chance to meet Young Australian of the Year and ocean adventurer Jessica Watson.Watson will take part in a question and answer session at PW1 at 1.30pm on Sunday. She will meet fans, pose for photos and sign autographs
.Watson will also take part in the Quick and Dirty Boat Building Challenge, where entrants have basic materials and limited time to construct a vessel that can be paddled on a course around Constitution Dock.

ReplyDeleteSince Jess arrived home, the moment that stands out for me (among so many and they are all on this site) is when Sir Robin Knox-Johnston said "She did well and did it properly by going south of the three Capes. The day she finished I put her on my list of those who have sailed around the world."
What an incredible acknowledgement of Jess's ability and of her voyage.
